THE AIM OF THE PROJECT
Under the leadership of the Szent István University in Győr a consortium was founded with the participation of the Alba Regia University Centre of the Óbuda University, the College of Dunaújváros, the Eszterházy Károly College and the Universitas-Győr Nonprofit Kft. The main target of the consortium was to establish the Hungarian Online University (HUNline) jointly, which laid the foundation of applied sectorial information system cooperation, by the coordination of which the higher educational institutions have appeared on the educational markets of Europe and the world collectively. In the project the development of new types of e-learning study materials in English and German language was completed (Vehicle Engineering MSc, Technical Management BSc, the pedagogical and professional pedagogical module of Teacher of Engineering MA) and such a moodle-based Learning Management system integrated in the domestic study-supporting information systems was developed, which enables the further education of the international students in Hungary. In the formation of the system it had got a highlighted role to develop the competence of the lecturers participating in the study material development and the education, to achieve the organisational development and strategical goals set up in the Institution Development Plans, to increase the international competitiveness through the improvement of the services for students, the career and the path of life work processes. The consortium partners did their subtasks on every area in harmonisation. The new type of standardised study material development processes that were created as a result of the cooperation, are going to contribute to that in the future new study programs, study materials can be connected into this international channel. Certainly opportunity will be provided for the joining of new higher educational institutions, too.
To enhance the international embedding we would like to connect HUNline to the already existing HUNline higher educational institutional cooperation, the European Virtual Academy.
